The story of the piece

Each Atelier 189 charm is hand-crocheted in cotton, stitch by stitch, then mounted on its cord with its little 189 signature. Designed to hang from a bag, a handle or anywhere you fancy adding an unexpected detail, it transforms an accessory without ever taking it too seriously.
With its bold green shell and its sea-green head and flippers, the Turtle plays on contrast. Its almost flat silhouette leaves plenty of room for the volumes of the crochet: a nicely rounded shell, four flippers and a generous head that already seems to know exactly where it’s going.
Why we love it
For its two greens in conversation, its graphic silhouette and that unhurried air, which works particularly well once it’s hanging from a bag.
And because it may be in no particular hurry, but where accessories are concerned, it was clearly streets ahead.

Each element is worked separately: the shapes are built up stitch by stitch, firmly stuffed, then assembled. Crochet takes time because it cannot go any faster than the hand. That is precisely what gives it its structure, its relief and its presence.

A piece that is ready to leave the atelier ships within two to three days. A piece crocheted to order takes two weeks. You have fourteen days to change your mind if the piece is not personalised.
