The story of the piece
Three radishes have settled on the bag.
Neatly lined up? Not quite. But well-behaved enough to look as though they were invited.
Hand-crocheted, they bring their rosy red, their white and their green tops to this naturally toned base. A little patch of kitchen garden, set down exactly where you’d least expect it.
Croquant plays on the meeting between a rather demure shape and three plump vegetables that are anything but.
Radishes you won’t be eating.
But ones that are rather hard to resist
The volumes, shades and stitches have been worked so that each element stays distinct, without breaking the khaki harmony of the piece.
Materials
Crocheted paper, fruit and vegetables hand-crocheted in 100% cotton yarn, textile filling.

Why we love it
For its three hand-crocheted radishes, each with its own relief and its own little irregularities.
For the contrast between the natural texture of the bag and the bold colours of the crochet.
For its easy-to-wear silhouette, livened up just enough by this funny little bunch.
And above all because it’s crunchy… and a bit of a crush, too.
The time it takes
The time it takes
Each element is worked separately: the shapes are built up stitch by stitch, firmly stuffed, then assembled. Crochet takes time because it cannot go any faster than the hand. That is precisely what gives it its structure, its relief and its presence.
